These are the Coxcomb Mountains. It was really pretty the way the land sloped down from them |

Just outside of 29 Palms we saw about 7 flocks of hawks. Each flock was riding the thermals. Occasionally
a flock would go and meet with another flock and then separate back out. It was really fascinating |

The boys are sure glad to be "almost" home |

Cliff is just about tired of driving - if you can believe it. He is really sad to be leaving Colorado
and it really sealed it when he saw the layer of smog as they approached the 10 Freeway |
